New Mexico Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Unit

 
The New Mexico Research Unit, in the U.S. Geological Survey - Biological Resources Division, is part of a national program of federal, state, university, and private cooperation to accomplish research and graduate education involving questions about fish, wildlife, and their habitat.

 

 

The New Mexico Research Unit conducts:

  1. Research on problems of mutual concern to cooperators
  2. Graduate academic training
  3. Technical assistance in fish and wildlife management
  4. Conservation education through publications, lectures, and demonstrations.
 


The Unit is housed in the Department of Fishery and Wildlife Sciences, College of Ag and Home Economics at New Mexico State University.
