I am an ecologist in the Center for Applied Spatial Ecology with the New Mexico Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit (NMCFWRU) in the Department of Fishery and Wildlife Sciences at New Mexico State University.  My research interests included Southwest riparian ecosystems, amphibians and reptiles, and spatial ecology.  My work has been focused on deductive and inductive habitat modeling, fire ecology and the role of fire within southwestern ecosystems, desert spring and seep ecology, and projects focusing on ecological context, conservation, and biodiversity.

I hold adjunct assistance professor appointments in both the Department of Fishery and Wildlife Sciences and the Department of Animal and Range Sciences.
